An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university-trained health professional with at least four years of specialised education in the science of exercise and its role in preventing and managing chronic disease, injury, and disability. AEPs are uniquely qualified to prescribe tailored exercise programs that are safe, evidence-based, and designed to optimise health outcomes.
At Restore, we believe that exercise is medicine. If there were a pill that could improve heart health, support weight loss, reduce the risk of diabetes, ease joint pain, boost mood, and improve quality of life—it would be prescribed to everyone. Fortunately, exercise does all of this and more.

Our AEPs, Maria and Megan have extensive experience supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment and beyond—from prehab (before treatment) to rehab. They’re passionate about helping individuals restore strength, reclaim control, and live with confidence.
In addition to their oncology expertise, Maria and Megan also support individuals living with:
Megan also has a special interest in women’s health and chronic pain, with a patient-centred approach to complex, long-term conditions. Our EPs work closely with our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and lymphoedema therapists, ensuring you receive holistic, integrated care.
Every program is tailored to your unique health status, goals, and lifestyle. Our AEPs offer both individual and small group sessions, with flexibility to support you in-clinic or at home.
At Restore Oncology Care, our Exercise Physiologists are more than movement specialists—they are your partners in recovery, resilience, and long-term health. Whether you’re facing a cancer diagnosis, managing chronic illness, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more capable in your everyday life, we’re here to help.
